There are two major aspects to God's purpose for our lives:
His purpose in the world to come
His purpose in this present world.
Rom 8:28-29 "And God said; I know the plans I have for you, they are plans of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope".
What is purpose?
Purpose is the reason you get up in the morning. i.e; the central motivating aims of your life. Purpose can guide life decisions, influence behavior, shape goals, offer a sense of direction, and create meaning.
How to find my purpose in life?
There are so many ways of how to find your purpose in life which are also backed up with scriptures.
Developing a growth mindset: This is the first step to finding your purpose in life. God expects us to be transformed by the renewal of our minds according to "Rom 12:2".
Create a personal vision statement: "Write the vision; make it plain upon tablets, so he may run who reads it"- "Habakkuk 2:2".
Give back: When you help others, you also help yourself; it can enhance your sense of meaning and purpose in life.
Turn your pain into purpose: Sometimes we face struggles in life, overcoming them shapes who we are and gives us our different strengths and perspectives. Sometimes helping others overcome a major life problem can also help us find our purpose.
Read: Reading connects you to other people across the globe. This helps you cultivate the sense of connectives that generates sense of purpose in life.
Practice self acceptance: We all make mistakes, but instead of beating yourself up for your failures, try to see each challenge as an opportunity to grow. I came across a post somewhere that said "God grant me the SERENITY to accept the things I cannot change, COURAGE to change the things I can, and WISDOM to know the difference". If you understand what this quote means, you will understand that it is really important to accept somethings that are difficult, even if its to accept the failures in your life especially when you can't change them.
Why is finding God's purpose for your life important?
"Jer 29:13" says "And you will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart". Living a life of purpose is found in the Lord. When we whole-heartedly and intentionally seek Him for direction and His purpose for our lives, He will lead and guide us.
Having a sense of purpose comes from feeling connected to God. Using your gifts and service for God can help you find your true purpose. You will probably find that your purpose changes throughout your life. So therefore, continuous growth and progress can help you stay connected to your purpose.

Identifying and honoring your purpose is the foundation of a well-rounded life. purpose provides you with an inner compass that guides every decision and leads you to the experiences that will light up your soul.
