Divine Grace

When grace locates you, it compels wondrous things to happen in style in your life, and you naturally become a man that cannot be ignored. And, with grace on your side, you become too loaded to fail, too relevant to be sidelined, and you break all odds to fulfill your life's mission.

Grace as Power for Living

2 Corinthians 12:9: Jesus says to Paul, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.1 Corinthians 15:10: “By the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain"

Four Types of grace

  • prevenient

  • justifying

  • sanctifying

  • glorifying.

How does Jesus define Grace?

The spontaneous, unmerited gift of the divine favor in the salvation of sinners, and the divine influence operating in individuals for their regeneration and sanctification.

GRACE is also an acronym representing five attributes:

  • G is for generosity, the will to do something more for others.

  • R is respect, the dignity of life and work.

  • A is action, the mechanism for change.

  • C is compassion, the concern for others.

  • E is energy, the spirit that catalyzes us.

Saved by Grace

By God’s grace, sinners are saved and reborn into the family of God. God offers eternal life to all who believe in His son, Jesus. Through Christ’s substitutionary death on the cross, God pronounces “not guilty” all who repent, confess their sins, and believe in Jesus as their Lord and Savior. As sinners, we deserve to die in our sins, but God’s grace gives us everlasting life through Jesus Christ.

Titus 2:11 For the grace of God has been revealed, bringing salvation to all people. (NLT)

Titus 3:7 Because of his grace he made us right in his sight and gave us confidence that we will inherit eternal life. (NLT)

Ephesians 2:5 That even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!) (NLT)

Ephesians 2:8-9 God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. (NLT)
